Months ago I listened to an interview with Rev. William Sloane Coffin, a great champion of civil rights and a voice that has challenged the status quo on many occasions. The interview I listened to was regarding the march on Washington where Martin Luther King declared to the world, "I have a dream.", but, it was also about leadership, a greater civic calling that should be present, almost palpable, in today's political system. He said that our leaders, and ourselves, must know, and have a credo - they, we, must know what we believe and why we believe it. This blog is an effort to figure out what I believe and why by looking at the happenings in the world today. Aloha.
